Current Clinical Trials:

​Clinical trials of innovative therapies designed to halt the progression of and reverse liver injury are currently underway at UC San Diego Health. Through research, important advances in the treatment of liver disease continues to emerge. Currently we have several drug trials and observational studies mainly related to Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD) and pharmaceutical trials for patients with MASLD, Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), and MASH cirrhosis.
